Videographer & Editor - Hybrid
I am working with a retail company that are looking for a talented and driven Junior videographer and editor to contribute to their growing success. Position Overview:
As a junior videographer and editor, you will play a crucial role in capturing and editing engaging video content that aligns with the company's brand identity. You will work closely with the creative team to bring ideas to life, ensuring the highest quality visual representation for our company. This is an exciting entry-level position for someone looking to kickstart their career in videography and editing.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit content for brand promotion across various platforms, including social media, websites, and events, adhering to guidelines provided by the line manager.
- Maintain a consistent flow of content production, ensuring timely delivery of projects in line with established deadlines.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on composition, lighting, and sound quality.
- Stay abreast of industry and social media trends, as well as emerging technologies in videography and editing, driven by a genuine passion for innovation.
- Efficiently manage day-to-day film operations, overseeing participant briefings and ensuring seamless camera setup.
- Edit existing content from prior shoots while also creating tailor-made content for upcoming campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or similar.
- A strong portfolio supporting your work.
- Great attention to detail and an understanding of colour grading.
- Passion for content creation and developing new ideas.
- Ability to conceptualise ideas, create storyboards, and translate concepts into visually compelling videos.
- An understanding of sound design.
- Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to consistently meeting project deadlines.
