An opportunity has become available for a UI/ Front End Developer to join global E-commerce company in Coventry who have seen a lot of success in the last 6 months and are in a really strong position. You will be working on their suite of websites and mobile app which is in the process of being re-launched and will play a key role in their growing digital team. You will be working in a cross-functional team so good communication skills would be an advantage.
Essential skills
- Solid understanding of UI.
- Knowledge of Javascript, HTML5, CSS.
- React (or similar frameworks).
- Git.
The role
Within the digital team you will be translating concepts into real life customer experiences through the testing platform and building react components. You will work closely with the UX designers and oversee the technical aspect of the designs and collaborate with the product team to interpret front end specs. You will help guide and support the wider team with any issues that arise on the website and ensure an understanding of the testing roadmap and prioritisation of tests by working closely within the UX team. You will also oversee all the changes before they go live.
