The Role:

As Sustainability & Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and environmental responsibility across our thriving e-commerce platform. You'll be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce operations and a strong commitment to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to minimize the environmental footprint of our e-commerce operations (packaging, shipping, returns, etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse and fulfillment processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, product development) to ensure sustainability is integrated throughout the e-commerce lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices in sustainable e-commerce and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track progress towards sustainability goals and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations management.
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable e-commerce practices (e.g., sustainable packaging, carbon offsetting).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to track and measure KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to building a greener future.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the E-commerce sector.
  • Knowledge of relevant sustainability certifications (e.g., B Corp).
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
