I am currently recruiting for a Junior Software Developer, to join a well established, growing company in Bath. Within this role, you will gain experience in product development and release cycles. continuous integration, automated testing and so much more, so if you are looking for a career and not just a job, this is perfect for you!
You will be joining a DevOps team within the company, working on their cloud technology. Working with technologies across the development team such like, Python, React, Bash, Windows PowerShell, Javascript / JSON, Apache CouchDB, .NET, C. The operating system used are Linux and Windows Server.
As a Junior Software Developer, you will be given responsibilities within your role such like;
understanding and following the company's design principles.
Balance cost, resource optimization, security, robustness, and elegance to provide high quality implementations of requirements, defects, analysis and other technical tasks, with moderate supervision.
You will take technical ownership for one or more components' implementation providing continuity, support, estimation and impact analysis.
Help other new people settle in, show them the ropes.
You will be working on new or developing areas of the product, as such the technologies will vary. It is not expected that you will be an expert in each technology but be willing and able to learn them as required, with assistance from other team members.
