Senior Software Developer - £45,000 - £50,000 - Poole
I am currently representing a well established company based in Poole, who are looking to grow the development team further, by adding a new Senior Software Developer. With training and personal development being the key ingredients in everything we do regardless of whether you are the most experienced or least experienced, everyone has something to learn.
As the Senior Software Developer sharing your knowledge and experience among the team along with assisting and supporting the junior developers is key to your role. The office environment is very modern, relaxed which ensures a an excellent culture within the development team, allowing everyone to continually grow and improve. This position requires you to be a strong independent developer, who is not afraid to ask questions, challenge decisions with grounds, but accept the final outcome. You will be developing modular, maintainable, efficient, reusable and testable code. Design software concepts with the Software Architect. You will also support and maintain existing software, users and infrastructure for the internal systems (e.g. SQL servers, Windows Servers)
Skills required:
3+ years experience in Software Engineering, using an object Orientated Language
Experience in Unit testing and the writing of automated tests
Excellent knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles
Commercial experience with C#
