Senior Programme Manager
to £58,500 k per annum (dependant on experience)

Our client is looking for exceptional, forward-thinking candidates to drive the delivery of a significant transformation programme (and its partners), whilst reducing costs, increasing efficiency and ensuring our client services meet the needs of residents and service users.
This role sits within the People Transformation, which includes programmes in adult social care, children's social care, education, libraries and culture, and others.

You will manage a programme and be responsible for its successful delivery by coordinating a number of critical projects, whilst enabling project managers and subject matter experts to deliver to the best of their ability. We are looking for people who are have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, influencing and motivational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and confidence to challenge the status quo, and create joined up solutions.
The role is as much about navigating and fostering relationships as it is about delivering transformation programmes. Our client need people who think strategically, who can "join up the dots", challenge current thinking and develop creative solutions to difficult issues while looking ahead to our future ambitions and vision. At times the role will be shaping and defining new programmes, and at other times getting programme delivery back on track.
