Senior .NET Developer

About the Role
Our client is a digital-first company specializing in the online hospitality sector, offering dynamic packages, deals, and products through their B2C platform. Their team is composed of professionals across various disciplines, including Architecture, Engineering, DevSecOps, and Agile Delivery, catering to clients in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Develop and sustain .NET applications, ensuring they are high-performing and scalable
- Leverage Azure services to create and manage cloud-based applications (SQL DB, App Services, Azure FrontDoor, SignalR)
- Create efficient data ingestion and indexing pipelines using Elasticsearch
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
- Implement necessary infrastructural changes for successful application deployment
- Develop endpoints, ensure secure authentication and authorization, and create reusable components
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
- A Senior .NET Developer with a strong portfolio of .NET projects
- Proficiency in C# and its ecosystems
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
- Ability to write clean and readable C# code
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
- Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Expertise in defensive programming with C# and .NET technologies
- Experience with SignalR
- Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to address software defects
- Experience with application deployment patterns and tools
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
