Overview:
The Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring successful planning, execution, and post-implementation support. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA and the ability to manage complex system integrations, data migration, and stakeholder engagement. The Programme Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of business goals with technical requirements and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA, from initial planning to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Oversee the integration of SAP S/4HANA with existing systems, managing technical, operational, and strategic aspects of the project.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project team, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and potential risks.
Technical Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including hands-on experience with key modules such as FICO (Finance and Controlling), SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning).
- Understanding of key SAP functional and technical capabilities, including configuration, customization, and module integration.
IT Infrastructure:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure requirements for SAP environments, including servers, databases, and network configurations.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database and cloud-based deployments.
Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive programme plans that include timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA while managing technical and business requirements across multiple functional areas.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to technical implementation, ensuring project delivery is on time and within scope.
- Resolve technical challenges and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to ensure a smooth implementation process.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Oversee the technical budget for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Provide financial reports to stakeholders and adjust project plans to stay within budget constraints.
