Job Title: Principle Application Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

 Location: Munich, Germany (3x days per week in-office)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principle Application Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative semiconductor business. As a Principle Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and verification of integrated circuits (ICs) while also contributing to the development of mixed signal systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IC design and mixed signal design or verification, with a passion for customer-facing responsibilities and a desire to shape the product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to design, verify, and validate IC designs and mixed signal systems.
  • Analyze and review existing designs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with customers, understanding their requirements and providing technical support and guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to defining the product roadmap, aligning it with customer needs and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of IC designs and mixed signal systems, ensuring high quality and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in semiconductor design methodologies.
  • Provide technical training and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IC design, including hands-on experience with mixed signal design or verification.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and verification tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor technologies, integrated circuit architectures, and mixed signal systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position with the expectation of working in the Munich office three days per week. Remote work options are available for the remaining two days.
  • The salary for this position is competitive and can be up to 120,000 euros, depending on experience and qualifications.
