Marketing Communications Manager - Hybrid / Birmingham / £50k-£60k

 

Working with a food retail client of mine who are growing out their teams and are looking for a marketing communications manager. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and communications. This role will play a crucial part in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Create and manage compelling content, including press releases, social media posts, blog articles, and website copy
  • Oversee the design and production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations
  • Manage public relations activities, including media relations and crisis communications
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years in a manager position, preferably from a retail/FMCG background
  • B2C experience
  • Must have experience managing team
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in content management systems and marketing automation tools
