Ecommerce Manager - Full-time / Hybrid / £40k-£50k

I am working with a well-known retail company that are looking for a e-commerce manager to join their growing team. This role calls for someone with a knack for analysis, a solid grasp of e-commerce platforms, and a drive to boost growth and keep customers happy. It blends marketing know-how, strategic thinking, leadership, and business sense to navigate the complexities of online commerce.

I'm on the lookout for someone who is commercially savvy, data-driven, and strategic, with strong communication skills and a track record of delivering marketing projects on time, driving improvements, and managing teams to hit targets.

You'll be using advanced analytical tools to ensure every decision you make is backed by data and leads to predictable outcomes. And, of course, you'll need to embody our company values.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage group of online accounts and be the primary point of contact.
  • Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and execute effective strategies to enhance visibility, rankings, and sales growth on assigned platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop annual brand and promotional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Product Management: Oversee price lists and ensure accurate and timely product uploads.
  • Performance Monitoring: Keep up to date with performance metrics, category online trends, and consumer insights.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned online accounts through proactive account management and strategic initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Own all aspects of the account management process, including building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders and contacts at partner platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing e-commerce accounts within a retail environment.
  • Understanding of e-commerce sales strategies, SEO principles, and digital marketing methods.
  • Excellent ability to analyse data and utilize it effectively in making business decisions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and excel in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Ads, Wayfair Ads, or similar advertising platforms is highly advantageous.
