Digital Marketing Manager

Are you looking for a role with the autonomy to be yourself/ break away from the pack to further develop my client's online capability and processes, to working in conjunction with our sales teams and marketing functions to support the company’s expanding product range and growth ambition.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop a significant digital marketing strategy for the company, increasing sales and driving engagement and conversion
  • Propose, plan and execute new strategies for specific areas of channel growth and optimisation
  • Create and oversee all aspects of digital marketing including ads, SEO, inbound marketing and optimisation and monitor ROI
  • Ensuring the online customer experience reflects the brand values
  • Establish a social media strategy for B2B and B2C customers using appropriate channels to develop advocate audiences
  • Driving marketing automation from on page lead generation through CRM and associated remarketing platforms

Key Experiences and Skills Required:

  • Strong commercial experience working within digital acquisition across organic search, paid search, analytics, social media, outreach, Email and UX.
  • Experience of managing Google AdWords/Shopping accounts, with an understanding of how to report and optimise PPC
  • Experience in leading the project management and launch of new websites working with third party agencies
  • Experience in planning, developing, and executing traffic building campaigns to both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Experience in managing and developing ecommerce platforms to increase sales and provide the expected level of customer service associated with the brand
  • Understanding how to leverage appropriate social channels to target differing customer types
  • Ability to plan content in line with the overall marketing objectives and to create the required targeted content
  • Develop an outreach plan and associated channels and targets that integrates into the overall content plan
  • Ability to use goal tracking both transactional and non-transactional to develop targeted landing pages to increase relevant leads
  • Understand the positioning of the business against the competition and leverage any untapped opportunities in the digital arena
  • Confident marketer with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders; internal and external 
  • Display a keen eye for detail and commercial awareness

Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience of Salesforce and Pardot ideal
  • Experience of WordPress and Shopify
  • Experience in the use of social channels for business growth, especially LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram etc.
  • Good knowledge of Google Ads/Shopping and Analytics
  • Experience of third-party shopping channels (Amazon/eBay) would be advantageous
